If your business was with E.ON, it is likely to be with E.ON Next now or soon: E.ON Next says that all of its home energy and small-to-medium business energy customers are getting an E.ON Next account. E.ON Next’s business phone lines are open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 4pm. If you would rather someone dealt with it for you, Black Sheep Utilities has a phone line and real people, and we can take the problem on.
Is my E.ON business account now with E.ON Next?
For most small and medium businesses, yes, or it soon will be. E.ON Next’s help page for customers joining from E.ON says that all home energy and small-to-medium business energy customers are getting an E.ON Next account. It says supply carries on as before, fixed tariffs keep the same name, prices and end date, and Direct Debits transfer across. Customers need to set up a new password to sign in to the E.ON Next online account.
E.ON Next’s page speaks about home and small-to-medium business customers. If your business is larger, or you are not sure which E.ON company holds your contract, the name on your latest bill will tell you, and we can check it for you. You can read more about the company on our E.ON supplier profile.
How do E.ON Next business customers get in touch?
E.ON Next’s business contact page lists phone lines open Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm, and Friday, 9am to 4pm. It also offers email and WhatsApp, and says customers using those can expect a response within hours. Meter readings, bills and payments can be handled in the online account.
A move from one account system to another is when small problems tend to surface. A reading can be missed in the handover, a Direct Debit can take time to show the new name, or a bill can arrive that does not match what you expected. Each of these can take several exchanges to put right, and someone has to keep track of them.
How can Black Sheep Utilities help with E.ON?
We deal with the supplier for you. Black Sheep Utilities is a business energy and water broker in Brighton, and handling supplier queries for our customers is a large part of the job. With a Letter of Authority, a short signed document that authorises us to speak to the supplier about your account and act on your behalf, we can raise the query with E.ON Next, supply the evidence it needs and follow it through.
That includes meter readings and estimated bills, billing errors, supplies transferred in error, and contracts that have ended and left a site on out-of-contract or deemed rates. While we are looking at your account, we can also compare the market for your business electricity and gas, and arrange a better contract if there is one.
How do I get started?
Existing Black Sheep Utilities customers can call us on 01273 914000. We already have your details and can normally help straight away.
If you are not yet a customer, tell us what’s happening. We need your company name, contact details, the meter and site information, which supplier you are with and what the issue is. We then send you our Meter Information Form and, once a Letter of Authority is signed, contact the supplier on your behalf.
